WHY?

I think one of the most common questions I am asked is "Why rescue?" or more specifically, "Why farmed animal rescue?"

The broadest answer is this: there is a tremendous amount of need in the world for kindness, compassion, being a true listener, being one of Mr. Roger's 'helpers'.

The shortest answer is: why not?

The personal answer is: I cannot imagine another life than to serve, to do good in the world, to make as positive a difference as possible for farmed animals, people, companion animals, the environment. I cannot control the world around me, but I can control my actions.

So find your personal WHY in life. I am hoping it is one that encompasses helping others in need.
