Celebration of the Turkeys

In celebration of Thanksliving

November 19th, 2023 (Rain or Shine)

Visit and offer yummy salad treats to our personable turkeys, our honored guests! Say hello to our 225+ rescued farmed animal residents, and learn about the ways they and us all adapt to the changing season.

This is a self-paced event, your stroll will allow you to spend time where you are most interested. Our volunteers will answer your questions!

Don't miss our Art for the Animals Auction! It will be online November 1-22, 2023 but at the Celebration of the Turkeys, you can see the art in person!

You can also enjoy food and shopping as well while you are here, perfect for the season.

  • Nirvana Tea House and Cafe of Millis, MA will have delicious soup, tea, hot cider, baked goods and more!

  • Like No Udder of Providence RI will have fun prepackaged sweets and their baked goods too!

Tickets go on sale in October. (11am, 12 pm, 1pm, 2pm)

They're free for children under 6, and $10 for all other visitors.

Donations are so very welcome to support the Turkeys year-round!

“Families love to interact with our rescues, especially friendly Handsome Paul the Turkey. Maxine Llama, Dudley the Scottish Highland, and usually the donkeys will also try to get your attention” says Kathy Halamka, Executive Director at Unity Farm Sanctuary. “Our Turkey celebration has been a popular destination event in November and we are happy to be back with our open house format everyone loved. Autumn is our favorite time of year here, and we love to share our unique corner of Sherborn before winter arrives.”

Guests will be part of the excitement and joy of being "up-close and personal" with the rescues. There are heroic stories of rescue, determination and animal journeys to Unity Farm Sanctuary so come and meet the many rescued production farm animals who enjoy a special forever life at the Sanctuary.

The Unity Duck Haven Store will be open online and onsite for your Holiday shopping!

(Parking will be first-come first-serve - please park courteously and try to be efficient - thanks!)
