LEARNING BY EXPERIENCING
In addition to providing a safe and lifelong home for farm animals, an important part of Unity Farm Sanctuary's mission is promoting a culture of kindness and connection through Proscial Education (sometimes called humane education). We are happy to offer a diverse array of educational programs for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, which you can read about in the following pages. Keep checking back, as we have many new opportunities in the works set to launch in the coming months!

Humane Educator, CHES
Jenn’s focus at the sanctuary is to spread the message of kindness and compassion for farmed animals through the lens of humane education; which examines the intersection of animal welfare, social justice / human health and environmental justice. Programs are developed to review these concepts in an age-appropriate way, combining fun learning activities with the development of critical thinking skills. Jenn partners with schools, scouts, after school, community, summer programs and others to foster learning about empathy for one another, our fellow earthlings and the natural world. TOURS AND CLASSROOM VISITS
On-site and virtual tours are both options! Programs can be tailored to the needs of your school group, Girl Scout troop, or your organization.
