Animal Care Circle (Age 10-14 classes incl. tour)

Calling all animal-lovers ages 10-14!

​Do you have an interest in learning more about farmed animal care?  Are you age 10-14?  Join us for Unity Animal Care Circle, a hands-on opportunity to work on your animal care skills and learn more about rescued farmed animals.  Each week, we will learn skills such as safety around farmed animals, cleaning pens and stalls, grooming, health and healing and socializing with the animals – all with an educational component that teaches about the lives and stories of our amazing farmed animal residents.  Participants will be supervised by staff at all times.

We recommend closed-toe shoes, work boots, or rubber boots; long pants; gloves (work gloves or similar); and raincoats or coats as appropriate for the weather. After registering, we will send more information, emergency contact form, and a liability waiver form.

Dates: Wednesdays: 4/5/23, 4/12/23, 4/26/23, 5/3/23, 5/10/23, 5/17/23, 5/24/23 and 6/7/23 (rain or shine!)

Time: 3:15pm-5:00pm

Cost: $80.00 total for the eight sessions.*

Spaces are limited to 10.
