Art with the Animals - Adults and Teens (13+) (tour)
Time & Location
Join us for Art with the Animals--a uniquely fun outdoor painting experience at Unity!
A professional artist, Elise Frankie, will select one of our rescued farm animal residents for us to paint and guide us step-by-step through the painting process. A perfect opportunity for aspiring artists of all levels (beginners included!) to learn new skills, all while taking in the sights and sounds of the sanctuary! All instructions and supplies provided, including acrylic paints, a canvas, and easel. This session is for adults and teens (13+).
Masks must be worn at all times and easels will be arranged to allow for social distancing. Please bring a water bottle (but no food). We also ask that you wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.
After registering, we will send more information and a waiver form.
Please note: this program is weather permitting, so we will contact you if we need to reschedule.
This program is sponsored in part by a grant from the Sherborn Arts Council
Your Instructor: Elise is a Boston based artist who specializes in many mediums of artwork. From acrylic, to chalk pastel, to watercolor she loves picking up the medium and creating a work of art out of a blank canvas. One of the things she loves most is sharing her passion with others! She loves working with young people to inspire them to use their own creativity to become artists themselves! Art can be a form of therapy, just like animals and Elise is excited to help bring the two together and show people how to create their own conversation pieces for their home! If you would like to see some of Elise’s artwork, you can view it on her website www.elisefrankie.com.
For those needing financial assistance, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about full and partial scholarships.
Please note, after registration is confirmed, there are no refunds.
