FINDING PURPOSE

Technology can help make our day to day work here at the Sanctuary easier sometimes. We certainly have our live webcams for you to enjoy any time, or we have our website and social media.

So we are certainly not opposed to modern technology here!

It is all about balance.

I personally avoid using AI, and I try to minimize the technology hours in my daily life, when practical. The natural way to balance technology is nature! I get outside whenever possible, and I let my purpose fill my day.

John and I will be 63 this year, and we have never shied away from hard work and long hours in any commitment. The Sanctuary’s 10th anniversary is December 15, 2026 and we are deeply inspired to keep working on new and amazing ways to build community and uplift the rescues and people. Everyday joy is our goal, as is hope. Sometimes these take hard work, but aren't the sweetest rewards from things achieved from the hardest work?
