Unity Animal Care Club (Ages 10-14)

Calling all farm animal-lovers ages 10-14!

Join us for Unity Animal Care Club, a hands-on opportunity to work on your animal care skills and learn more about rescued farm animals. Each week, we will learn skills such as safety around farm animals, cleaning pens and stalls, grooming, feeding, and socializing with the animals—all with an educational component that teaches about the lives and stories of our amazing farm animal residents. Participants will be supervised by staff and volunteers at all times. The program is overseen by Unity’s Humane Education Director, Marla Andrews, who can be contacted with any questions at education@unityfarmsanctuary.org.

Masks must be worn at all times, as well as: closed-toe shoes, work boots, or rubber boots; long pants; gloves (ideally work gloves or rubber gloves); and raincoats if bad weather. After registering, we will send more information and a work/Covid waiver form.

Dates: Saturday, October 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st (rain or shine!)

Time: 10:30am-11:55am

Cost: $48.00 total for the four sessions.*
