WE ARE SANCTUARY

The Sanctuary today represented everything we hope to accomplish. 🙏

Volunteers from all parts of the community were here: high school interns; young adults part of life-skills learning groups; veterans and active duty leaders; individual community members; and a group of graduating seniors completing a significant community service projects of 50 hours each.

A large preschool program from a neighboring town came for tours and humane education programs, with a lot of joy spread all around. Spring is our huge school visit season, where students come for our free humane education programs.

Our preschool, The Sanctuary Forest School was active and participating in Sanctuary life. They made a "best wishes - we will miss you" card for Emma and had the chance to say goodbye. We had a farewell lunch for beloved team member Emma who graduated from MassBay today, and she will soon begin the rest of her college program in Maine. Our Animal Caregiver Team is one we are very proud to have.

Our rescues were loved today (and everyday), cared for, and provided with the feeling of safety and belonging.

Nirvana Tea House and Cafe welcomed guests and served compassionate and delicious food and drink.

It takes hard work by many people here to make this all happen. We would not have it any other way! 'Mission Vision, Values' are always at the heart of everything we strive to achieve.

Thank you to everyone on the journey with the Sanctuary!
