In Memory - Dutchess was a slender and elegant red roan appaloosa mare. She was a barrel racer at some point in her past. She really enjoyed hanging out with the minihorses.
In Memory - Millie was a 28 year old Welsh Pony from Holden, MA. She was beloved by all the young women who learned to ride on her and many still came to visit her! She was very gentle and loved to be groomed.
In Memory - Stanley was the father of Danny and was also from Maine. He was one of the most social males and was filled with curiosity; he loved to sniff visitors' hair. He was named after the Stanley Cup.
In Memory - Ellie was the most social female fainting goat. She loved to climb and greet visitors. She had a handsome beard and the most beautiful eyes.
In Memory - Jules was almost 22, and was a Bay Morgan who came with Linnea Morgan from Dover, MA after foundering (laminitis). She was very gentle and we miss her very much after her sudden passing from a hidden cancer
In Memory - Shaun came from Carver, MA with his mother and sister because he was too friendly to train herding dogs. He was very curious and so very sweet, always coming up to visitors & volunteers to say hello.
In Memory - Charlotte came to the Sanctuary with her mother, Lila, and brother, Shaun after they were no longer usable to train herding dogs. Charlotte was very curious but shy and prefered to stay close to her mother.
In Memory - Leona was a super sweet Idaho Pasture pig and came from Sherborn MA with her sister, Osa. She weighed over 500 pounds but that didn't stop her from asking for belly rubs.
In Memory - Shiro was a Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog. He weighed 100 pounds, loved putting his paws on your shoulders, and barked to defend from every possible threat. He was a Sanctuary favorite.
In Memory - Tinkerbelle came from Maine with many of the others. Despite being the tiniest alpaca at the sanctuary, she was always first to the food. She was very good natured and the easiest going alpaca. We miss her!
